Earth Day is Back—And It’s Greener Than Ever
Over the last two years, many of our favorite events and activities have been put on the back burner due to the pandemic. And Earth Day was no exception. Last year, many Earth Day events went virtual while others unfortunately were canceled.
This year, though, things seem to be closer to normal. And, again, Earth Day is no exception.
The theme for Earth Day 2022 is Invest In Our Planet. The goal is to engage more than 1 billion people, governments, businesses, and institutions, to push aside the barriers created by the fossil fuel industry and economy, and focus on creating a 21st century economy that works towards healing our planet, accessible by all.
And while this might seem like a daunting task for any one individual to take on, the Earth Day 2022 site provides tools and resources along with a schedule of events around the world to help people amplify their voices and begin the change our planet needs.
At Clearview Energy, we’re perfectly positioned to be a part of this change. As you know, we provide 100% green energy, supporting Wind, Solar, and Hydro sources. Our energy helps you help the environment by minimizing your carbon footprint.
Along with that, your business helps us support green initiatives, like the Center for Negative Carbon Emissions at Arizona State University, the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at University of San Diego, the Wind Energy Center at University of Massachusetts, and the Winston School Solar Car Club.
We’ve also partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation and every year we financially support the planting of 10,000 trees in communities across the nation. As you know, the reforestation and development of wooded areas is a critical part of the fight against climate change.
We’re a sponsor of Greensters, the YouTube channel dedicated to telling the stories behind the people and organizations who work to make the planet a cleaner, healthier place.
And we support renewable adaptation through our work with ChargeEVC, which supports programs and policies to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles, and ChargePoint, an American electric vehicle infrastructure company that operates the largest online network of independently owned EV charging stations.
Now that we’re freer to move about and interact with others, it’s the perfect time to band together with governments and businesses (like Clearview Energy) and ignite the change needed to protect our planet.
In other words, it’s the perfect time to Invest In Our Planet.
